Starting in October 2025, I will continue directly from my completed Bachelor’s degree (Acoustic Guitar Jazz/Rock/Pop) and simultaneously enroll in two Master’s programs: Music Education and Acoustic Guitar J/R/P at the University of Music Dresden.
In my Master’s in Music Education, I am specializing over the next two years in the field of music mediation.
Music mediation means building bridges. It is about making the passion, energy, and stories behind music tangible and accessible to everyone – regardless of prior knowledge or age.
Whether through moderated concerts, interactive workshops, or innovative projects, music mediation opens doors to new sound worlds. It transforms passive listening into an active, connecting experience. My goal during my music studies and beyond is not only to bring music to the stage but to bring it to life through dialogue with the audience.
In the Master Acoustic Guitar J/R/P, I will primarily focus on my creative and artistic development.
This includes especially creating new compositions and adapting existing pieces through arrangements to make them my own. I also plan to expand my concert activities with the Aeres Guitar Quartet over the coming years and to develop another project with the guitarist Xiao Shang Guo.
The topic of music by female composers remains a high priority for me and motivates me to actively expand the existing repertoire.
Why two?
After passing the entrance exams, I simply couldn’t decide for or against either of the two fields, and I take this as motivation to make the most of everything the university in Dresden has to offer during my final two years of study!
